The Tradesman is a well-equipped work truck, and the Tradesman HFE is a variant that emphasizes fuel performance. The Big Horn is similar to the base model but outfitted with the typical non-fleet customer in mind. The Laramie is loaded with amenities and technologies. The Rebel is off-road focused. The Longhorn adds many premium features, and the top-spec Limited builds on that with high-end exclusives.

Exterior – Ram 1500
There are two cab options for the 2023 Ram 1500 near Buena Park: a quad cab and a crew cab. Both are four-door cabs, but the quad has smaller rear doors whereas the crew cab has full-size doors across the board. There are two bed lengths available as well: a standard bed that measures 6 feet 4 inches and a short bed that measures 5 feet 7 inches. The quad cab is paired with the standard bed, and the crew cab can be paired with either bed. We have Puente Hills Ram specials for all cab and bed combinations, but note that not all combinations are available with all trim levels. The Rebel and TRX, which is a performance-oriented off-roader, are only available with the crew cab and short bed, for instance.

Interior – 2023 Ram 1500
Both cab configurations for the 2023 Ram 1500 near Buena Park have two rows and can seat up to six. As you move up to the higher trim levels, front bucket seats become standard, which reduces seating to five. In most of those cases, however, our dealership serving Buena Park offers you the option to revert to the 40/20/40 bench. The Tradesman has vinyl flooring and seating. The Tradesman HFE and Big Horn have cloth seating and carpeting. Genuine leather upholstery becomes standard with the Laramie, and you’ll find an even higher-grade leather in the Longhorn and Limited. Notable cabin options include zoned automatic climate control, heated, cooled and power-adjustable front seating, reclining and heated rear seats with under-seat storage, Harman Kardon audio and a panoramic sunroof.

Mechanical – 2023 Ram 1500
With most 2023 Ram 1500 trim levels, rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available. The exceptions are the Tradesman HFE, which is exclusively rear-wheel drive due to its fuel economy focus, and the TRX, which is exclusively four-wheel drive due to its performance off-road focus. There are a number of engines available, and an eight-speed automatic transmission is optional. The base engine is a 305-hp V6 with eTorque, a mild-hybrid system that helps improve fuel performance. The main option is a 395-hp V8 that is available either with or without eTorque, and we have Puente Hills Ram specials for both configurations. A 702-hp V8 is exclusive to the TRX. Drivers who want a diesel powertrain have the option of a turbo-diesel engine that makes 480 lb.-ft. of torque. Trailer sway damping is standard. Class IV trailering equipment is standard with the Laramie and up, and there are a wide range of trailering configurations available as options as well.

Technology & Safety – 2023 Ram 1500
A 5-inch Uconnect 3 infotainment touch screen is included with the base package for the 2023 Ram 1500 near Buena Park. A 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 touch screen is available and become standard starting with the Laramie. Integrated navigation is optional with the Longhorn and standard with the Limited.
