The team at Puente Hills Dodge near Anaheim are your local Charger experts. We recently completed our overview of the 2020 Dodge Charger available for sale near Anaheim, and here, we wanted to take a closer look at the various trim levels.
SXT and GT
Both the SXT and GT are essentially base models but from different perspectives. The SXT is more for the driver who wants a large sedan. The Charger is among the few such options on the market in that regard and it includes keyless entry, keyless ignition and power-adjustable driver seating. The GT has those items as well but is aimed at the driver who sees the Charger as a muscle car. The big difference here is that it upgrades the vehicle to a performance suspension, but it does add a bigger touchscreen too.
R/T and Scat Pack
The R/T is equipped like the GT but adds a 370-horsepower V8 engine. This is a more than 75-horsepower jump compared to the GT. In terms of exterior colors, wheel designs and finishes, brake calipers and so forth, the options are all similar to the GT. The R/T Scat Pack adds an even bigger engine—a 485-horsepower V8—as well as a series of performance upgrades. Four the four trims discussed so far, there are a number of options available, including suspension upgrades.
SRT Hellcat Widebody and 50th Anniversary Edition
The SRT Hellcat Widebody is the range topper, and it includes the widebody kit, which is also available on the R/T Scat Pack. The engine is a supercharged 6.2L V8 that makes 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. The widebody upgrade adds an adaptive suspension, wider wheels and tires, flared wheel arches and more. The SRT Hellcat also has more personalization options than any other trim.
For this model, you also have the option of the 50th Anniversary edition. This is not an appearance package like with the Challenger but rather an edition of the SRT Hellcat limited to just 501 vehicles. In addition to special badging and leather upholstery, this edition is notable for increasing the horsepower output to 717.
